Why does the memory foam in my Perfect Chair look compressed or caved in?
Perfect Chair® memory foam is sensitive to temperature. In colder conditions, the foam may become firmer, remain compressed, or take longer to return to its original shape. This is generally normal.
Allow the memory foam to reach a comfortable indoor room temperature and give it sufficient time to recover. Recovery time may vary depending on the temperature, length of storage, and amount of compression.
Normal changes with use
Foams and cushioning materials naturally change over time. Normal characteristics may include:
- Temporary compression
- Softening or firming
- Body impressions
- Changes caused by temperature
- Gradual changes in the shape or feel of pillows and pads
Normal softening, firming, or compression of foam and filling materials is generally not considered a defect under the standard product warranty.

When should I request assistance?
If the memory foam remains severely compressed after reaching normal room temperature and being given sufficient time to recover—or if you notice torn upholstery, exposed foam, open seams, or other damage—submit a Human Touch Service Request.
Include your chair model, serial number, proof of purchase, and clear photos of the affected area.
