How long should my Human Touch product last?
Under normal residential use and care, a Human Touch® massage chair may last longer than six to eight years without requiring service. However, this is a general estimate and is not a guarantee of product lifespan or service-free operation.
Human Touch products contain numerous electrical, electronic, and mechanical components. As with a vehicle or other complex product, the lifespan of an individual chair can vary.
What can affect the product’s lifespan?
Factors that may affect product performance and longevity include:
- Frequency and duration of use
- Number and weight of users
- Normal wear
- Improper use or accidental damage
- Room temperature and humidity
- Electrical power quality
- Cleaning and routine care
- Moving, handling, and storage conditions

How are Human Touch products tested?
Human Touch products undergo accelerated-life testing at the factory. This testing simulates repeated use over time and helps evaluate component performance and estimate expected product life.
Testing provides statistical estimates and does not predict exactly how long an individual product will operate without requiring maintenance or repair.
How can I help extend the life of my product?
- Follow all instructions in the product’s use and care manual.
- Use the product only as intended.
- Do not exceed the product’s maximum load weight.
- Keep the product indoors in an appropriate temperature and humidity range.
- Connect it to the correct grounded electrical outlet.
- Protect the upholstery and clean it only as directed.
- Do not perform unauthorized modifications or repairs.
- Follow the proper instructions when moving or storing the product.
Is the estimated lifespan the same as the warranty period?
No. Expected product lifespan and warranty coverage are different.
A product may continue operating after its warranty expires. Similarly, an estimated lifespan does not extend the warranty or guarantee that service will not be needed.
