Troubleshoot the Issue
There are several possibilities as to why the doors are not operating correctly, or the chair will not restore.
The first steps before any parts are replaced or a service tech visit is scheduled would be to verify that all of the connections for the doors are correct.
The door panels have sensors that rely on signals and information from the other panels, so if the door is not closing, it may not necessarily be a problem with the door, it may be a connection on the lower door or alternate sensors.
1. Perform a Hard Reset on the chair.
• Press the Power button on the Remote Control. The Menu screen will be shown.
• Press the Power button on the Remote Control again, the Paused screen will be shown.
• Use the Navigation Ring to select 'Power Off'.
• Wait for the chair to fully restore. After full restore the chair and Remote Control will power off.
• Press the Power button on the Remote Control. Normal Use and Operation can now begin.
2. Remove the Upper Door Panels and check the electrical and air connections.
3. Remove the Lower Door Panels and check the electrical connections.
4. If the issue still remains, note the colors and status of the lights on the Touch Sensors, and contact the Customer Experience Team.
